Don’t you just love curveballs in your life? They come to you unexpected and you don’t know what to think or how to react to it. A lot of the times it leaves you frustrated and you don’t know what to do. That’s the best part. Other times you want to hide in a corner thinking about what are you doing with your life.
I’m telling you it’s an amazing feeling.
Okay, who am I kidding? They suck.
But for real though, curveballs are tricky little things. You could be enjoying an awesome day and then BAM… a curveball comes your way. As much as we want to avoid them there’s no escape from them. And that’s facts.
Instead of dreading over them, try to overcome them. Some of them could affect you but only you can push through it and learn the valuable lesson from it. If the curveball is becoming bothersome, pause for five minutes and breathe. When there are too many things going on in your mind stop everything and focus on you. Not the tasks, not what you have to do later the day or night.
Stop everything. Don’t look at your phone. Don’t look at your computer. Breathe. Close your eyes if you want to. Relax your muscles, get rid of everything in your mind for three or five minutes.
When you have collected yourself for at least three minutes minimum you feel a small boost of energy. If you believe three minutes isn’t enough then try five. Or more. Your
