Sernaro again and this time I wanna talk about expanding your horizons.
So my family likes to travel a lot and of course I join in a lot. So that means I’ve been to a lot of places ever since I was younger but today I’m gonna talk about two different trips that inspires my inner Christmas demon that decorates everything in candy canes and red ribbons (^.^).
First off, my trip to the yankee candle center in Massachusetts. Oh my god, this place screams Christmas. Candles are everywhere, theres a toy corner for retro toys, and an area devoted to a Christmas theme and I absolutely love it. I loved it as a kid and I still loved it as a teenager. Now as an adult, I wish I could visit but I don’t really have the time or the transportation to get there without stopping at the side of the road cause someone forgot to get gas and said “we’ll be fine”.
My second place to visit when I’m feeling up to Christmas theming is to go to Vermont and go to Mount Washington. I remember going there in October with my family and we stayed in a lovely house modeled after a log cabin. When we finally got to the top of the mountain, it was a nice blistering cold mess. Its not something that was necessarily Christmas themed but it was a nice little place with a nice sense of adventure.
Well I’m halfway through the retail holiday season and I’m finishing up the rest of my schooling so its time for me to go back to the grindstone. Sernaro signing off.
